Shalom. I’m Tasha.
I’m a nonprofit development leader with over 18 years of professional experience. I hold an M.A. in Near Eastern & Judaic Studies from Brandeis University, with a focus on Nuclear Policy and Transitional Justice, and I’m a published fiction author. I am one of the original co-founders of MaTovu and continue to serve in leadership positions at nonprofits across Saint Louis and Missouri.
My background spans nonprofit development across multiple sectors, with particular strength in major and planned giving, relationship building, and values-driven fundraising. Grounded in the belief that work must be both kind and brave, I am committed to mission-centered leadership and thoughtful stewardship. I live intentionally offline and, outside of work, enjoy rowing, reading mystery novels, and visiting museums.

core values
kind
There is a difference between kind and nice. Niceness is about keeping things smooth and the same. Kindness is about digging down to the root of what is causing a person harm or struggle and doing the work to help them. Being nice is passive. Being kind is active.
brave
I believe in confronting our discomforts. When something puzzles or throws me for a loop my response is to get to work. Encountering new and difficult situations thrills and invigorates me, as it is an opportunity to learn something new, change my mind, and upset the status quo.
transparent
Honesty is a sign of respect and when honesty and kindness come together you begin to build trust. I am committed to transparency. You deserve to know everything from the expenses to the people you are partnering with and I am going to be honest with you.
